A HUMBLE ORIGIN
LifeSpeed Medical was originally founded solely to make a difference in the fight against COVID-19 by offsetting the ensuing medical supply shortages and to work on developing novel personal air filtration systems in case the virus proved to be far more dangerous..
With the loving support of family and friends who also wanted to make a difference,, the founders purchased raw materials, necessary tools and stood up a mask manufacturing capability. A few short weeks later, LifeSpeed had manufactured and donated over 325 masks to Walter Reed Hospital and underserved government workers in critical roles and had developed a prototype personal air filtration system.
As supply availability began to normalize, our team recognized that we had great potential to contribute other aspects of health and wellness within local communities.
